The Jones Family

AN INTRODUCTION TO THE DR. BILL JONES FAMILY

Dr. Bill Jones and his wife Jill have 6 children (Alaina, Lynnette, Bill, Garrett and Valerie)

After pastoring churches in Milwaukee and Hendersonville, NC, Bill Jones knew the Lord had something very unique for his family. During his ministry at Bethany Bible church in Hendersonville, Bill sensed the Lord’s leading to become a missionary in New York City

ORBC brought the Jones into our missionary family in January of 2003. They were our special guests at our Missions Conference in the Fall of 2004 and the fall of 2005.

On April 24th,  2004, the Jones packed up their earthly possessions and moved their family to Manhattan. They will be living in and ministering out of the Manhattan Jewish Mission House, the “Angel House”,  that NY Gospel Ministries is leasing.

For the past summers, mission teams from churches and Christian universities have come every week from the end of May to the beginning of August and shared the gospel in area Manhattan churches, parks, streets and subways.  Dr. Jones has a real burden to reach the lost and invite people to their new church.
